well i think takumi would be definitly at the top because of his skills with
driving cars, well compared to speed racer, he's used to being targeted by bad
guys and so his car has gadgets which help him keep safe (*mutters* or cheat).
but put him in a normal car and see if he's just as skilled. ban midou would be
a chllenging contender becuase of the reckless driving and insane speeds in that
beetle, i would think high but not that high.
i'll watch anything, but in terms of liking it it has to be either something
catchy, usually somthing from shonen jump, romantic comedy, action (either
realistic or fantasy), comedy (whether intelectual or slap stick), even some of
the children anime.

well one question plagues me, which naruto? original or shippuden? if shippuden
then its possible that naruto will win, due to the experience, techniques and
annoyingness. plus it would allow to make at even ages, though i already cut out
ed.
but luffy could use gatlin punch for all the clones, but naruto could use the
rasengan shuriken
ichigo does have bankai and has the inner hollow and naruto does have a wimpy
kunai and the demon fox. but with oth of them they are both stubborn and have
this ablility to transform will into energy so the battle would be a long
one.
hmmm i have now ruled out luffy based on he sucks
naruto has the ability to heal faster than anyone becaue of the demon fox, but
if ichigo runs out of energy or loses will the hollow takes over and they are
both trying to supress the monsters inside them while fighting.
well its really hard to say...
i'd say naruto because 1000 clones is still hard to beat and naruto performs
that like it was nothing, not to mention if that clone gets killed a bit of info

for a awhile people some people say i should lose weight, but the thing is i
play sports quite often and have a better fitness than the people that tell me
that i'm fat. i look stocky rather than fat but some people presume its fat.
well i do admit i don't have a flat stomach and i'm short, that's probably why
it looks fat. plus my body is quite strong. but then i see people that are thin
(not anorexic thin) that can't handle sports or even basic fitness and it
confuses me to which is better? i mean most people would say to be healthy,
thusly regular exercise would be ideal in that area, but i guess people are
still into the idea of looking beautiful for the norm instead of being healthy
(though some people do this to be thin and fit).

for some reason i do that, i go watch an entire series in japanese, then wait
for it to come to english and go to my local video store to hire it and watch it
in english. if the voices are good then i watch the series over again
i don't care if you think i'm weird, i just want to know if there are others
that do that too.
che, who am i kidding everyone has been disappointed at one anime or another,
whether english dubbing to unfulfilling endings.
i'm always disappointed when they dub to english especially when they change the
openings, but some do come out good, that and when they mess with the opening

i did some what about a while ago, in australia on foxtel they had the sci fi
channel and it had the anime series samurai x (aka rurouni kenshin) which i
found they redubbed it. i have watched the english dub (original) when i was
young and i thought i was really good, due to the fact i didn't care about jap
or eng, then when i heard it was on cable i watched and went WTF! they did such
a bad job compared to the original dub. they changed the names, changed the
voices and ruin the feel. my friends didn't believe me until i borrowed a dvd
and showed them that they did get redubbed and they like the original better.

well it kinda depends for me, coz ther's a few that i like for particular reasons. eg.
captains:
hitsugaya toshiro: coz he looks cool but i hate his fightin style
zaraki kenpachi: he's just awesome, no flaw

i would say depending if you plan to make any other like art style references, masking would also add a bit of awesomness to the natural atwork.

do you ever watch an anime in jap and then when it licenses to english, watch the english just to the english voiceovers?
for some reason i do that, i go watch an entire series in japanese, then wait for it to come to english and go to my local video store to hire it and watch it in english. if the voices are good then i watch the series over again
i don't care if you think i'm weird, i just want to know if there are others that do that too.

che, who am i kidding everyone has been disappointed at one anime or another, whether english dubbing to unfulfilling endings.
i'm always disappointed when they dub to english especially when they change the openings, but some do come out good, that and when they mess with the opening and ending themes.
so are ever disappointed?
though you say they shouldn't dub anime at all, the japanese do technically dub as well because all anime is an animated and dub of the manga. so i don't know its just me but i feel bad when people say such things. i know americans suck but they do the best they can and some end up really good, well i think so... eg. fruits basket, dragon ball z (well i prefer the english), oh my goddess OVA and my list goes on...
well my point is that people will get disappointed (i know i do) , i agree they don't do some anime justice. but its not the people who voice them blame casting director, plus if you feel that someone should should of been casted instead, give us a shout.
as the thread suggests, have you ever encountered an anime where they have dubbed in english and then later redubbed in english?
i did some what about a while ago, in australia on foxtel they had the sci fi channel and it had the anime series samurai x (aka rurouni kenshin) which i found they redubbed it. i have watched the english dub (original) when i was young and i thought i was really good, due to the fact i didn't care about jap or eng, then when i heard it was on cable i watched and went WTF! they did such a bad job compared to the original dub. they changed the names, changed the voices and ruin the feel. my friends didn't believe me until i borrowed a dvd and showed them that they did get redubbed and they like the original better.
